HIDDEN GEMS OF OREGON STATE : Hallie Ford Center
There’s just something about being out in nature — it helps you relax, reduces stress and gives you a moment of zen — even if you only have a short time to break away from the daily bustle. We’ve created a list of our favorite outdoor nooks for you to enjoy. While you could relish these cozy spots any time of year, summer is the prime time to enjoy them. So head out there, sip an iced coffee, study or simply take a deep breath or two.
Hallie Ford Center
Relax on the bench north of the Hallie Ford Center to enjoy the view of Russell Jacques’ sculpture, It’s Almost Like Flying. Take a deep breath and take a load off.

Tree trunk bench between Hovland Hall and the Agriculture and Life Sciences Building
Nestled between these two buildings is a gravel path that leads to a quaint bench carved out of a tree. The ferns add a lushness to this tranquil lunch spot.

Alpha Beta Alumni Homecoming Weekend -- October 15th
Dear Alpha Beta Alumni, family, and friends,
Alpha Gamma Rho - Alpha Beta will be having an alumni meeting and BBQ on October 15th, 2022 at the chapter house. The meeting will be followed by the BBQ and time will be announced in a follow up email/announcement contingent on the game time of the Oregon State vs Washington State football game that day.
We will be producing shirts for this event as a fundraiser for the house. A donation of $25 will provide you with one shirt if pre-ordered by Tuesday the 27th of September by 12:00 PM PST. All shirts will be a $30 donation during the day of the event which will be limited supply to reduce overhead.
Please RSVP for the event by contacting Riley Masters at 541-621-2449 or at rileymasters41@gmail.com
We look forward to having a large turnout for this event as it is our first Homecoming back on campus! Our chapter is currently a dry house (alcohol free) so please respect our wishes to follow the rules and keep the chapter running strong!
We look forward to seeing as many people as possible at the event! Please bring your Beaver spirit and attend the game following the event if you wish! Be mindful that tickets are selling out fast due to the limited seating capacity at Reser Stadium this year due to the rebuild of the South Side of the Stadium! As always, donations are accepted and highly encouraged for this weekend to help the chapter start the school year out strong financially.
